This was my very good stay in this quiet hotel located in a beautiful area close to Ambleside. It was fairly clean, with terrific staff and location.

Pretty much what I expected: substantial hotel, reasonably priced. Lots of bangers, fruit, boiled eggs, pastries and cheese at breakfast. Marvellous view, a nice balcony, great bed, too. Swimming pool was excellent too. Besides, parking was available nearby. Walking distance to the magnificent beach.

We really enjoyed the stay, it was a lovely experience. This place was fairly clean and had fab location and food. The hotel room was huge with comfortable bed.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor.

I had a fab experience. Fairly clean, decent food and modern staff. The location was friendly and best possible. I appreciated that bus station Foulstep crossroads was easily accessible, it was not too far from the hotel. Complementary drinks and omelette and yoghourt.

The location was perfect, breakfast was good! One of the dining options, the talbot bar, was 10 mins walk away. We were able to park onsite.
